Now that we are living with ourselves and sometimes our family members, we have to develop, even with ourselves, a set of rules for the insiders, that is us.
Living by yourself does not give you an exemption. We all know what our frailties are and in moments of stress, they seem to jump out at us because we haven't learned how to establish those boundaries we just didn't feel we needed.
The Time has come, the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings." And today we have arrived where "the sea is boiling hot' and life has handed us an immutable change and charge. We have tripped over a beautiful gift: Time.
Just think about what you can accomplish now that your boundaries outside of your home space have been set. Create a wish list that you now can tackle. Catch up on yourself and determine what lines in the sand you want to establish.
Let's begin here and continue the dialogue when you are able. Welcome to your world.
